Imprinted concrete sealing

Imprinted concrete is a very popular choice for homeowners because of its hard wearing and durable properties. Maintenance is required less than block paving but is still necessary. It will lose lose some of its colour over time and if left untreated it can deteriorate to the extent that the bare concrete underneath shows through.

We specialise in the cleaning and sealing of imprinted concrete driveways and patios in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. Imprinted concrete should be re-sealed every 3-5 years. We can offer this service and also re-colour the concrete if necessary to make it look like it was recently installed.

We would normally clean and seal imprinted concrete on seperate days to make sure the surface is dry after cleaning. The steps are outlined below:

• Pressure washing the concrete to remove any surface dirt.
• After drying out, the concrete is then sealed with 2-3 coats of Smartseal concrete sealer.
• Re-tinting is carried out at this stage to ensure an even colour across the surface
